Nicole Moran (she/her) has been putting stories on stage for over 10 years. She has directed and choreographed three original ballets, and her first piece for Journey Dance Theater, The Collective, has been accepted into dance festivals throughout Virginia. Nicole received her BA in Dance from James Madison University and has performed at Busch Gardens, Kings Dominion, Dance Matrix & Company, and JMU’s Contemporary Dance Ensemble. In addition to her studies at JMU, Nicole’s professional training includes summer programs with the American Dance Festival, Modus Operandi (Vancouver, CA), and Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet. She has been teaching dance for over 10 years and is Level 1 certified in Progressing Ballet Technique.
