You may cancel your reservation and receive a refund by notifying admin@journeydancetheater.com or @journeydancetheater on Instagram at least 12 hours prior to class time. If you cancel sooner than 12 hours prior to class time, or if you do not show up for a class for which you are registered, you will not receive a refund.
Journey Dance Theater reserves the right to cancel any class that does not receive at least four paid signups. This is in order to cover the cost of renting the studio and compensating the instructor for their time. In the event of a cancelation, students will be notified a minimum of one hour prior to class time. Refunds will be given to all students still registered at the time of class.
Other situations that might warrant class cancelation include but are not limited to:
- Inclement weather
- Contagious and/or serious illness on the part of the instructor
- Cancelation of our studio reservation by the business that we rent from
- Technical difficulties, such as heating/air conditioning failure or inability to play music for class
- Local or national emergencies
- Other circumstances beyond Journey Dance Theater’s control
Students will be notified as soon as possible if their class is canceled for any of the above reasons, and refunds will be given to all students still registered at the time of class.
